icansmellyourfate: Driving to Seattle from Los Angeles his car stalls a little ways after taking a wrong turn off the freeway a few hours out from his destination.  It’s all thick forest and snowing hard and he decides against going to look for help.  ”Jesus will help me” he thinks “and if this was meant to be then I can only trust in him.” No cars pass after three hours and the storm only seems to worsen.  Above the car a large branch, laden with snow, snaps and comes down hard, smashing his windshield open.  He dries himself as best he can and retreats to the trunk of his car where he hopes he can warm up enough for Jesus to see his body heat, because Jesus probably works like Predator, or so he has always believed. He actually chuckles a bit, there in his trunk, shaking and coughing, laughs at what a prankster Jesus is.  The windshield thing.  That’s so him. One thing’s for sure, and that’s that it’s no coincidence there’d be a tire in the trunk, and what do tires do?  They burn.  Thank you, Jesus.  He uses a lighter to set the tire aflame, making sure to beat at it with an oily rag to keep it from getting out of control. He’s found the next day by a Starbucks employee taking the trash out back just a few yards from where his car had run down.

I&#8217;m looking forward to performing at Everfree up in Seattle this August and getting to meet and greet with you fellow musicians and listeners!  I swear this set will be so good you&#8217;ll no longer find joy in attending future concerts because it just won&#8217;t do.
